Jono’s passion for aviation dates back to when he was a youngster. Always fascinated with flight and always looking up to the sky as planes flew by. He started taking photos from a young age of an assortment of aircraft from his home base in Johannesburg at airports such as (the now) OR Tambo Int, Lanseria Int’l and Rand Airport. Fast forward – Today he has honed his photographic skills and frequents these airports to catch a vast variety of Airliners, Business Jets, Military aircraft and all exotics from Africa and abroad. He will do whatever to get the perfect shot and likes his photos like he likes his steaks – The rarer the better!
