While most Aviation Enthusiast were grieving over the Qantas and British Airways Boeing 747 retirement a few spotters made the effort to see the best Aircraft ever built in my opinion.
Volga Dnepr Airlines Ilyushin IL-76MD-90A departing out of Melbourne Airport bound for Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Malaysia as “Volga 3665”.
Sadly Volga Dnepr removed the Soloviev D-30 engines from their 5 IL-76 in 2006 and replace with the PS90 engines. Never the less an unforgettable experience!!
