    On display in Hangar 1, at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford. This example was the last Varsity to fly with RAF insignia, albeit in the livery of the Royal aircraft Establishment.

    The type was brought into RAF service in 1951 for crew training, with a total of 163 built. The first deliveries of the type went to No.201 Squadron, Advanced Flying School at RAF Swinderby.
