The Shuttleworth Collection’s, and the world’s last airworthy Avro Tutor, sweeps across the crowdline at their July 2020 ‘Drive-in’ airshow flying display.

Starting life in the RAF Central Flying School (CFS) at Cranwell, it left military service in 1947, passing onto the civilian register, airworthy until a major engine fault required the manufacturer, Armstrong Siddeley, to rebuild the Lynx radial, from several other engines at their historic Coventry site. 41 years on, the Tutor flies frequently in the care of the Collection, today finished in a colourful CFS scheme, as K3241.
