    Russia’s jumpjet, the Yak38. This type was developed for the Russian aircraft carriers. It can take off vertically like the Harrier and the F-35 naval version. It uses the main engine and an additional vertical jet engine just behind the cockpit to fly vertically. This is the two seater training version with an enlarged forward fuselage to house the second seat. It was was seen in the Gromov research institute compound at Moscow Zhukovsky during MAKS 2001.
