Taxiing in on arrivals day at the 2013 Waddington International Airshow.

This a/c was built in November 1942 as an AT-6C-NT Texan, for the United States Army Air Force. It was then allocated to the RAF as a Harvard llA, but then it was sent on to the South African Air Force. In 1969 it was on the move again, this time to the Portuguese Air Force, where it stayed until 1978. The following year it was registered in Britain as G-TSIX & now wears ‘false’ US Navy markings as 111836/JZ-6, which have no historical link to a Harvard.
