The Nord Pingouin was a French built version of the Messerschmitt Bf 108, manufactured by SNCAN (Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord) Manufacture of the Bf 108 was moved to occupied France in 1942, after the liberation of France, Nord continued to build the aircraft albeit with a new Renault engine.
