It was not until long ago that Air India’s famous old ‘double-bogeys’ were rotting at Delhi airport. Today, they’re getting a new home, such as this A320.
The aircraft has been shifted out of the airport and is getting refurbished for its new life of serving passengers- not in the sky, but on the ground. This A320 will take shape as a restaurant, about 35 minutes from Delhi airport.
The aircraft is currently being worked upon, with the interior and exterior being completely revamped. Glad to see that it has not been scrapped!
