![]() Leg 3 is one leg I have been looking forward to the most as it would allow me to try out the 'new' UA business class on the 767-300ER. The seat is fully flat and the IFE has had a major overhaul and is on demand (AVOD). Having flow UA First Class in the past I was doubtful wether the experience in C would be any better but I have to say the seat made a huge difference, so did the IFE. So as before here are a few details on the flight. DETAILS So here are a few pictures from Leg 3, there are also a few pictures from Chicago as I went downtown as soon as I dumped my bags in the hotel: Got to use fast-track security and was in the T1 Star Alliance lounge in no time. Muesli and Orange juice for breakfast in the lounge, was quite nice.
My chariot over the atlantic today, great to get a Star Alliance logo-jet. Lots of space and a huge screen to watch some films on to pass the time away. Reminds me of a Bubble Devere quote from Little Britain, "Champagne for everybody!". Climbing to the cruise over Wales. Miller Time! Warm nuts as well, not many airlines still serving them warm.
Meal service begins with the starter and salad, not usually a Smoked Salmon fan. Main course...Fillet Mignon, was VERY nice. Cant fly to Chicago and not have any cheesecake! Raspberry, not the best I have every had though! Time for a film or two, here I watched Law Abiding Citizen. Not long after this the moving map was turned off, and channel 9 was turned off just after passing Ireland. Thanks a bunch Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Afternoon 'Tea Service', not fantastic compared to what used to be offered (Pizza).
On finals into O'Hare, snow never gets old with me so was great to have it in Chicago! A little sightseeing in Chicago. SNOW! Giant metallic jellybean? I don't usually like pictures of myself but here is one. City view from Millennium Park. Gotham City? Batman!
Never seen this kind of warning, then again I have never been in the states during winter! On the L train back to O'Hare after a great time downtown and some of the best chicken wings I have ever had, the ribs on the other hand were not! So that concludes Leg 3, coming up are Leg 4 and 5 taking me to Houston and my final destination San Jose. Come back soon to view the pictures!
